2025 marks a historic and extraordinary milestone for Wisani Burial Society as we celebrate 30 years of reputable service in South Africa’s funeral industry.
From Two Vehicles to a Trusted Funeral Service Provider
Wisani began in 1995 with just two vehicles in Trichardtsdal, an agricultural and tourism hub in the Mopani District, Limpopo. Over the past three decades, we have grown significantly and today we proudly operate with hundreds of vehicles and offices across Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng.
Honouring the Heartbeat of Wisani: Our Staff
To show appreciation for the people behind our success, we hosted a special staff celebration to commemorate 30 years of dedication and dignified funeral services.
Our directors honoured staff members by describing them as the heartbeat of the business and commended their commitment and excellence. They shared:
“We honoured the heartbeat of our business, our staff, with a special celebration just for them. Because without this amazing team, there is no Wisani.”
This event formed part of our broader Wisani 30-year anniversary celebrations.
Community Upliftment Through Sport and Culture
Wisani is also known for community involvement and uplifting initiatives. As part of our anniversary celebrations, we hosted a Top 16 soccer tournament, bringing together communities from the Greater Tzaneen and Maruleng Local Municipalities.
The tournament united local communities through sport and celebration, featuring cultural dances and drum majorettes, while also promoting positive youth engagement.
Supporting Youth Development
Beyond the excitement on the field, the Top 16 tournament played a meaningful role in youth development. It supported local teams by providing cash prizes and soccer kits, helping them grow and advance.
